  1. Mack- My favorite tradition for Christmas is sewing a jean blanket(jk). For real, I love to get chocolate and donuts for my birthday; the cake kind not fried.

  2. Connie-one of my old favorite traditions was getting a new dress for Christmas and Easter. I like the tradition of reading the Christmas story on Christmas Eve. It really helps me focus on the real reason of Christmas. I also like the tradition of playing games with family and friends on Sundays.

  3. I like the tradition of putting all decorations for christmas the weekend after thanksgiving while christmas music plays in the background. I also like the tradition of family vacations and reunions, which I never had growing up, but I am looking forward to when Bryan and I have children.

  4. As a child we played games as a family all the time. I also enjoyed doing that with my own children. Larry likes to play games too and that makes it fun. My mom always made us a new dress for Christmas and Easter because when she was growing up it wasn't because of the holiday it came on but it was because it was a time when they could get a new dress for the spring and summer months and a new dress for the winter months that are long and dark. So she continued that with her own daughters and granddaughters. I would like to do the same thing with my own grand-daughters someday.

  5. I like spending time with family doing things that build unity, love and harmony. I had this as a child; I spent individual time with each of my sisters and parents. I remember when just a few years ago I took my middle sister out for dinner to a fancy pizza place in Seattle. She loves pizza but hadn’t had a chance to have pizza for many years; she was like a little girl. I want to be able to do those types of things for each of you.
