Hmmm...that is a hard one! I celebrated my birthday this past week and Larry sent me some roses. The girls at work also sent me some flowers. So I had two boquets of flowers come to my work. The day was very cold, I don't think it was over 5 degrees all that day, but the miralce is the beauty of the flowers and smelling them. Flowers in January are a miracle because there is no way that they can live in our climate this time of year but they are able to ship them here so that we can experience their beauty now.
A miracle that I have seen this week is the blessing of children. We don't have children, but I found out that a close friend of mine is having a baby as well as my best friend here is pregnant with a girl and another close friend adopted her two children and in the process of another adoption. Children are miracles and no matter how they come into our lives, they are a miracle just the same.
Miracles happen all the time. I see the sun come up in the east and go down in the west while the seasons change as the earth moves from the North pole to south and back again to create those changes. Life itself is a miracle, birth, death, a beating heart, a blinking eye, a tongue to taste, fingers that move with such interesting movement as one types. we are so lucky to live when all this and much more happens to us each day. What a miracle each day is!
Mack- One of the miracles that I have experienced in the past few weeks is being able to take twenty-two credits at one time. This is quite the load, but I worked with many teacher in order to get them all together in a schedule that will work for me. Another miracle will happen in April when I survive such a load. There are many miracles each day that we may not even notice, but we should all be grateful for them all just the same.
Connie - One of the miracles I have experienced this past week was passing my observation from my supervisor with high scores. It is a miracle to have a job with how things are going now days. I also witnessed a miracle of being protected in a car accident, to walk away with out any cuts, bruises, etc. and that only the front bumper was damaged. I count my many blessings daily.
